Welcome to Double AB (called “Double” below) privacy policy page. We take data privacy very seriously and all our services are up to date to make sure that all your personal information is safe and handled correctly. At Double your data is processed in accordance with applicable personal data legislation and General Data Protection Regulation (“GDRP”).

This page has been created to inform all our users how information is processed by Double.

Double is the controller of personal data provided by you through the websites or sub-sites to www.doublegroup.com, www.double.net and www.doublesale.com.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (called “user” or “you” bellow).

When using Double’s services, Double collects personal data like first name, last name, age, gender, email address, postal address, phone number, IP-address, personal identity numbers, bank account numbers and/or other information that the user provides to Double in order to use Double’s services. Data can also be collected as part of our sales and marketing efforts through online forms for contact purposes. This data could be used for prospecting, generating leads and receiving inquiries.

The purpose of collecting and processing personal data is to be able to provide Double’s services. Your personal data will be processed in accordance to applicable laws and agreements.

Double will seek consent from you to processing your personal data when Double deems it appropriate or is required by law. Double displays information throughout its websites and services about how personal data is collected and used so that the user can understand what the personal data is used for.

Right to information, withdrawal of consent and erase personal data

The user has the right to obtain information of the personal data processed by Double concerning the user. The user can at any time recall consent from Double to process the personal data. The user understands that recalling consent to use personal data can limit Doubles possibilities to deliver the service fully and that functionality might become limited to the user. The user can also ask Double to delete, adjust or limit personal data used about the user at any time, this has to be done in writing.

Personal data that is no longer needed or used by Double for the purposes for which it was collected will be deleted or de-identified. This is for example done when a user cancels or stops using our services which in tern leads to a cancelled account. If an account is cancelled all user data is destroyed. This cannot be undone. To start using our services again the user must create a new account and re-enter all data needed by the service.

Security

Double has taken appropriate measures to protect personal data through out the whole organization as well as technical services, platforms and systems to ensure that only personal data which is necessary for each specific purpose is processed.

Cookies

Cookies are used by Double for technical reasons to provide users Double’s services and to make the websites experience better. Cookies are small files that are stored on the users hard drive. Cookies control login sessions and other important functionalities on our websites. They contain no personal data. The user can prevent cookies from being used at any time by changing settings in the browser. The user understands that this can cause websites and services to stop working properly.

Double customers

Double has updated all customer agreements regarding GDPR. This includes affiliate agreements and advertiser agreements.

Affiliates that use our advertisers banners and links need to inform their website and/or blog users about the personal data that they handle in their privacy policy.

Advertisers need to inform their users about what personal data they shared with third parties like Double in their agreements and/or privacy policy.
